Fennel is one of the most versatile herbs that add flavor to a variety of dishes such as meat, soups, and salads. Once your micro-green fennel is at least 4 inches tall and has mature enough leaves, you are ready to harvest! We recommend using our snips which are available on our website.
Begin harvest by snipping at the base of the stems approximately 1 inch above the SeedPod surface. Make sure to cut where the stem meets the stalk of the plant being careful not to damage the stalk. Rinse well before use and enjoy it!
Fennel seeds can be harvested once the plant’s flowers have turned brown and the seeds are loose. To collect them, place a large bowl underneath the plant and shake the seed head to free them. Allow seeds to dry completely before storing in an airtight container in a dark place for up to six months.
