Marigolds are one of the few edible flowers that add decoration and flavor in a variety of dishes such as salads, pies, and cakes. Once planted, you can expect your marigolds to bloom after a couple of months. Once the flower is mature, it is easy to harvest. Just follow these simple steps!
We recommend using our snips which are available under the "market" tab on our website. https://edntech.com/market/snips.html
To begin, find the flower head you would like to harvest, follow its stem down to the first set of leaves and snip right above the leaves. (Note: You can also do this for flower heads that look wilted. It is important to de-head the wilted flowers so its energy can divert to the healthy flower heads.)
Once you have snipped your flower head, peel off its petals, chop, sprinkle, and enjoy!
